Cut tomato and onion in slices

In pan add all the ingredients along with desired water and cook it for 1 hour on slow to medium flame.

After 1 hour mash it well with hand beater or hand masher.

In a pan add oil and onion fry it until onion becomes light golden then add zeera,whole red chili and mix and add it to cooked daal also add green chillies and coriander leaves,its ready,serve it in a bowl
