Ingredients

8 servings
  • 150 mlAmarula cream liqueur
  • 400 mlheavy whipping cream
  • 200 mlfull-fat milk
  • 40 gicing sugar (more or less)

Steps

    NOTE:- Prepare ice-cream maker according to manufacturers’ instructions. Mine requires freezing the churning bowl for 24hrs. While you’re at it, also chill the liquid ingredients

  2. 2

    In a bowl, whip the mixture to soft peaks (DO NOT OVERWHIP!!!!….keep it at a pouring consistency). Cover bowl with cling firm and refrigerate for 4hrs [it’s best to start this step with 4hrs left of your churning bowl in the freezer. That way you won’t need to wait an extra 4hrs]

  3. 3

    With the ice-cream machine running, pour refrigerated mixture into the churner and churn 55minutes. Keep an eye on it, start checking at the 30minute mark as ice-cream machines vary in their operation

  4. 4

    Serve and transfer the rest [if at all still present] into a freezer safe container for later. Ciao 😽
