Ingredients

Prep 5 to 10 min, Cook 20 min

  1. 1Medium Onion
  2. 1/3 cupDiced Carrots-Frozen or raw
  3. 1/3 cupCorn -Frozen
  4. 1/3 cupGreen Beans or Green Peas -Frozen
  5. 140 gShort pasta -Any kind
  6. 1 can (284 ml)No or Less salt Tomato soup
  7. 2 canfull (568 ml) Soup stock or No salt added broth -Any kind
  8. 1 tsp (5 ml)Worcestershire Sauce
  9. 1/2 tspGround black pepper
  10. 1/2 tspGarlic powder or Granulated garlic
  11. 1/2 tspItalian herb mix (dry)
  12. 2 tspRolled oats
  13. 1 tbsp (15 ml)Olive oil
  14. This recipe is intended to be compatible with the diet of individuals with diabetes, kidney and heart disease, but please consult your doctor, renal nurse, nutritionist or other medical professionals!

Cooking Instructions

Prep 5 to 10 min, Cook 20 min

    Chop onion into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Measure Carrots, Corn and Green beans. You can use 1 cup of Frozen Mixed Vegetable alternatively.

  3. 3

    Heat a medium pot to Med-High temperature and add Olive oil, then stir-fry vegetables from step 1 & 2 until onion becomes slightly transparent.

  4. 4

    Add Tomato soup and soup stock.

  5. 5

    Add Worcestershire Sauce, Black pepper, Garlic powder, Italian herb mix and oats.

  6. 6

    Stir in the uncooked Pasta. Reduce the heat to Medium-Low 10 min or until the pasta is tender.

  7. 7

    Great meal for busy days. Adjust Ground pepper and Garlic powder to taste.
