Spinach is so versatile and so many delicious and healthy recipes for both snacks and main meals can be prepared with it. Here I have made these delicious little Spinach Vadis on the lines of kothmeer vadi! It is also made with Multigrain flour and is a very healthy, iron and protein rich option for snacks, breakfast or in between meals. Enjoy!

Spinach is so versatile and so many delicious and healthy recipes for both snacks and main meals can be prepared with it. Here I have made these delicious little Spinach Vadis on the lines of kothmeer vadi! It is also made with Multigrain flour and is a very healthy, iron and protein rich option for snacks, breakfast or in between meals. Enjoy!

First, mix all ingredients for the Palak Vadi in a bowl.

Using water, make a soft dough. Lastly add soda and mix gently.

Keep a steamer on gas with a plate and enough water at base. Press the dough in an oiled round steel tin or dabba.

Steam without whistle for 15 minutes. Then cool to room temperature.

Cut out square shapes from the steamed dough. Heat oil in wok or pan.

Add mustard, hing, chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well. Add the prepared Palak vadis and shallow fry for 5 minutes till crisp and golden.

Serve hot and spicy Spinach Vadis with your favourite sauce, chutney or curd and enjoy!
