Ingredients

30 minutes

  1. 500 gmchicken lollipops
  2. 2 tbspvinegar
  3. 1 tspginger paste
  4. 1 tspgarlic paste
  5. 1 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 1 cupvegetable oil for frying
  8. Batter
  9. 1 cupmaida
  10. 1/4 cupcornflour
  11. 1egg
  12. 1/4 tspsalt
  13. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  14. Sauce
  15. 2 tbspminced garlic
  16. 1chopped onion
  17. 1/4 cupchopped red bell pepper
  18. 2 tbspsoya sauce
  19. 3 tbspManchurian sauce
  20. 1 dropred blood color
  21. others
  22. 2 tbspchopped spring onion

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Marinate the chicken lollipops with salt, vinegar, ginger, garlic paste and kashmiri red chilli powder for 30 minutes

    Now prepare the batter using 1 cup maida,1/4 cup cornflour,1 egg, salt, kashmiri red chilli powder and water to make a thick consistency. Coat the chicken pieces well in the batter.

    Deep fry the chicken and strain off the oil and place on tissue paper. Fry in batches and do not overcrowd.

    Allow the excess oil to get soaked in the tissue paper for 5 minutes only

    Meanwhile prepare the sauce. Place the wok and add 2 tbsp oil, add minced garlic, chopped onions,chopped red bell pepper and saute. Add 2 tbsp soya sauce,3 tbsp readymade manchurian sauce, 1 drop red food color.

    Add the fried pieces of chicken and toss gently till the chicken gets coated in the sauce. Add chopped green chillies and spring onions and stir mix and serve hot with sauces of your choice.
