Take 1tbsp ghee in a cooker. Add 1 handfull peanuts, 1tsp mustard seeds. Fry. when mustard seeds splutter add 1 small onion chopped.

When onion is slightly brown add washed vegetables, foxtail millets and toordal. Add salt and sambar powder to taste. Mix well.

Add 1 ltr water and tamarind juice as per taste. Cook for 3 whistles. Garnish with boondi and serve.
