Steps
- 1
First, clean and wash the greens thoroughly. Place them in a colander to drain all the water.
- 2
Finely chop the greens. Heat 2 cups (about 480 ml) of water in a pressure cooker. Once the water is hot, add the chopped greens. Add salt, crushed green chilies, and ginger. Close the cooker and cook on medium heat.
- 3
Add flour and blend the cooked greens using a blender. Heat a pan and add ghee. Once the ghee is hot, add onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies to make a tempering. Add the blended greens and cook for 2-3 minutes. Sarson Palak Methi Saag is ready. Serve hot with makki ki roti (cornmeal flatbread).
