Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan add besan and suji.. On a low heat. Keep stirring the besan so that it is evenly roasted.

Meanwhile boil water in a sauce pan add yellow food color and cardamom pods.Keep aside.

When the gram flour and suji gets roasted well, it will start releasing ghee and become nicely aromatic. The color of the besan will also change.It will take at least 10 minutes add sugar and stir then milk and mix

Now add water and stir very well.

Keep continuously stirring the mixture. You will see some ghee separating from the halwa at the sides.Add dry fruits and remove from the heat.

Dish it out garnish and enjoy.😍
