Steps
- 1
Heat a kadhai with oil. Splutter cumin seeds. Add onion slices and saute them till brownish. Add fresh green chillies. I didn't add because it was for kids. But you can certainly slit and add fresh green chillies as per your taste.
- 2
Add potato wedges and saute them till bit brownish.
- 3
Add Cabbage and peas. Give a nice mix. Let it get sauteed without cover for some time. Go for occasional stirring and mixing.
- 4
Next add salt, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Give a mix. Add 1/4 th cup water. Mix. Cover and cook at slow flame till cabbage and aloo is cooked.
- 5
Remove the lid. Give a nice stir. Put red chili powder. Stir mix again. Cover for 5 minutes more at slow heat.
Remove lid and stir mix again.
Let it be on slow flame for more time without cover.
Go for occasional stirring and mixing. It's colour changes and it gets nicely fried.
Switch off the flame. Let it settle for some time. - 6
Give a gentle stir before serving.
Serve hot with rice/ roti/ paratha/Stuff it in your bread. It's awesome
