Steps

First pressure cook dal with little salt & turmeric powder. 3-4whistle keep aside.

Now oil in a kadai put chopped onion,pinch of hing fry translucent add tomato,curry leaves & green chillies Fry little add remaining turmeric powder &salt.now after release steam pour dal over the masala. Consistency as per desire. Add garam masala & coriander leaves.

Let dal cook with masala properly. Now turn off gas.Take another small pan heat deshi ghee add chopped garlic fry little brown add red mirchi powder & immediate turn off gas and pour the mixture over dal.
