Ingredients

10-15 min
4-6 people
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1Tejpata
  • 1cinnamon stick
  • 1clove
  • 2green cardamom
  • 5-6black pepper seeds
  • as per needCashew nuts
  • as required Almonds
  • as required Raisins
  • 1 cup Soaked(for 2 hours) rice
  • 1 tbsp Fennel seeds
  • 2.5 cupwater
  • 1 cupcrushed jaggery
  • 1 tsp Extra ghee

Steps

10-15 min
  1. 1

    Melt ghee. Add tejpatta, cinnamon stick,clove,green cardamom and black pepper seeds.

  2. 2

    Add cashew nuts, almonds, raisins. Roast it. add soaked rice. Stir for 1 min

  3. 3

    Add fennel seeds,water and jaggery. Add extra ghee and give a boil

  4. 4

    Close the lid and take one whistle at low to medium flame
