Ridge gourd curry

Ridge gourd curry which I have prepared is from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
It's blended with grated coconut, green chillies and jeera cooked turdal, ridge gourd.
Have it with Rice chapathis or Ragi balls with dollop of ghee it tastes heavenly. Do try this recipe.

Steps

Pressure cook turdal with enough water, pinch turmeric and a tsp of oil until 4 whistles.
Boil ridge gourd cubes separately. - 2
When pressure cooker cools down remove turdal and mash it.
Add in boiled ridge gourd grounded coconut masala paste. Add salt to taste and boil for 5 to 7 minutes till raw smell goes off. - 3
Heat ghee in a small kadai add in a tsp of mustard seeds whe it crackles add to dal.
Serve hot with Rice or chapathis.
