Ingredients

  1. 11/2 cupDaal
  2. 1onion(slices)
  3. 2tomatoes
  4. 2kashmiri red chilli
  5. 7-8garlic cloves
  6. 5-6curry leaves
  7. 1 tbspcoriander leaves
  8. 1boil potato
  9. as required oil
  10. as per tastesalt
  11. 1 tbspsambhar masala
  12. 2 tbspred chilli powder
  13. 1 tbspcumin seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Take a cooker put soaked daal in it add salt and turmeric powder also water and cook it for 3whistles.

    Now mashed it properly and add water and potato (pieces) and boil it for 5-6mins

  3. 3

    Take a pan add oil,cumin seeds,red chillies,curry leaves and garlic in it.

    Now add onion slices cook it till golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add tomato puree cook it till oil comes out.

  6. 6

    Now add all spices with little salt and sambhar masala

  7. 7

    Now add this masala in daal and boil it for a while

  8. 8

    Turn the flame off and add coriander leaves and serve it with idli,vada and roti.
