Ingredients

30 minutes
4 people
  • 150grm toor daal
  • Lemon size tamerind
  • 1 tbspred chilly powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1 tbspcumin powder
  • 1small carrot
  • 1small onion
  • Big piece of bottle guard
  • 5green chillies
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspJarry powder
  • Tampering
  • Oil for tampering- curry leaves, 2 garlic cloves, dry chillies
  • Cumin seeds, musterd seeds, fenugreek seeds, hing

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil toor daal in the pressure cooker and mash it and keep it aside

  2. 2

    In a separate bowl add tamerind juice and add all vegetables and spices and let the mixture comes to boil.

  3. 3

    Then add tampering and serve hot with rice accompanying papads
