Pork Shoulder with Plantains and Potatoes (Quick Pressure Cooker Recipe)
Steps
- 1
Cut the pork shoulder into cubes or chunks of your preferred size (not too large).
- 2
Slice the plantains into thick rounds and cut the potatoes into quarters or wedges, as you like.
- 3
In a pressure cooker, add the oil or lard and sauté the garlic. Add the annatto, then the pork and consommé. Mix well and brown the meat over high heat.
- 4
Once the meat is browned, add the vegetables and herbs, along with the Lizano sauce. Pour in the water and close the lid. When the cooker starts to whistle or release steam, cook for 10-15 minutes (the time may vary depending on the thickness of the vegetables).
- 5
After 10-15 minutes, release the pressure from the cooker. Your delicious recipe is ready to serve and enjoy!
