Ingredients

Serves 5 servings
  • 1.1 lbsground beef (500g)
  • 5medium onions
  • 1 tablespoonvinegar
  • 5 tablespoonspomegranate molasses
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tablespoonsplain yogurt
  • 3 tablespoonstahini
  • 1/2 cupchopped parsley (about 15g)
  • 2 packagesready-made puff pastry dough
  • A little oil or butter for sautéing the finely chopped onions
  • Pine nuts for garnish

    Sauté the chopped onions in a skillet with a little oil or butter until they soften, then add the ground beef and cook until fully done.

    Remove the skillet from the heat, then add the remaining ingredients—parsley, tahini, and others.

    Cut the dough into equal-sized squares.

    Spoon 2 tablespoons of the filling onto each piece of dough, then garnish with a few pine nuts.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C), top and bottom heat, until golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.

    Serve with mint, lemon, and peppers, or with plain yogurt.
