Steps

Soak the dal overnight. Grind it next morning. Add salt and mix it properly.

With help of your fingers and thumb, start making small vadi. Let it dry in the hot sun.

Remove from the sheet and keep it in broad vessel. Keep it under the sun till it makes crispy sound. Store it in airtight container. Make Subzi or add in masala khichdi.

Tip - You can add ginger, green chillies or pepper powder if you want to make it spicy while grinding.
