Heat oil in a pan and saute onions in it till soft then add garlic cloves n crushed ginger and saute well.add in chopped tomatoes and all dry spices with addition of some water mix and cook covered till tender.

After water dries and spices are cooked add chicken pieces and saute well till oil appears then add yogurt and after mixing cook covered on medium low flame till chicken is done.

At this stage add fenugreek leaves and keep stirring well with some water.Add enough water and cook covered till water dries out and fenugreek is done.adjust the seasoning at this stage and add 2 /3 tbsp of desi ghee and saute well till oil appears on the sides.

Serve hot with roti topped with ghee and enjoy.
