Steps

Dry Roast rava till pink colour and keep aside.

Take oil in a deep sauce pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds,let it splutter,add black gram, chana/split chick pea,hing, green chillies, curry leaves, chopped onions, and peas and saute.add hot water& allow it to boil for 5 minutes, add salt & sugar

Now slowly add roasted rava/suji and mix well.when water evaporates,add in fresh coconut,Squeeze out 1/2 lemon juice, add chopped coriander leaves,give it a good mix, serve hot your delicious upma with chutney /a cup of coffee
