A delicious and simple Soup that's easy and quick. It's a great one to enjoy with family at home on a weekend. It's both yummy and healthy with absolute benefits.
Making it is also very easy. Though it's made in various ways, this one is my version. I usually make it this way.
It can also be made with just Red Onions too but addition of Green or Spring Onions render it a beautiful colour as well as a distinct flavour.
You can add some Lemon juice too just before taking it off the heat. It's optional. I sometimes also add a small piece of Dry Tamarind directly to the Soup as it's cooking. It gives an excellent flavour and aroma.

Steps

Heat a little of Oil along with Butter in a pot. Add Cinnamon and Bay Leaf at first followed by the Ginger garlic paste and the chopped Red Onion. Saute it until a bit browned with no raw smell.

Next, add chopped Green Onions, Turmeric, Cumin powders and the Peppercorns. Add Salt and give all a light mix. And finally add the cleaned and cut Crab pieces. Saute all for a minute or two. And then add water. Slow cook this on a low heat for the rest 20-25 minutes. That's it.

Adjust Salt if required and garnish with some freshly chopped Coriander Leaves.
