Blend together karhi ingredients.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add in chilli garlic paste and both the seeds.

Stir them well.

Add in karri patta and little water.

Mix well.

Add in blended mixture.

Stir it on high flame till it boils.

Cook covered on low flame for 30 minutes.

Add in salt and boondi.

Cook covered till boondi is tender.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add in onion and fry till translucent.

Add in chillies.

Fry till onion is light golden.

Add in remaining ingredients.

Fry for a minute.

Pour tarka over karhi

Serve hot.
