Wash fish fat very nicely, Sprinkle little salt and keep aside.

Finely chop potato, marinade with salt for 10 - 15 minutes and keep aside. This process is for faster cooking

Finely chop brinjal.

Heat oil, then add onion seeds and allow to sizzle, then add fish fat, it melts within seconds then add potato + brinjal and stir fry for few seconds.

Then add turmeric + green chilli and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.

Further fry for 2-3 minutes.

Now add 1/2 cup water, mix well, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes under low flame.

Now dry curry is done.

Serve with plain rice/ roti / paratha.
