Ingredients

  1. 1 canchili in adobo sauce
  2. 1 tbsbutter
  3. 1 jarroasted red pepper
  4. 4 ozCanadian bacon
  5. 2 tbsflour
  6. 1 tspchili powder
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1/2 tspcumin
  9. 1 tbsdried chopped onion flakes
  10. 2 1/4 cupmilk
  11. 2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  12. 1 lbbow tie pasta
  13. 2 tbschopped cilantro

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven 400

    Remove 1 tsp adobo sauce and chop up 1 chili

  3. 3

    Cook bow tie according to directions

  4. 4

    Melt butter in sauce pan over medium high heat. Add peppers & Canadian bacon saute 4 min

  5. 5

    Add onion, chili, adobo sauce flour chili powder salt cumin and cook 1 min

  6. 6

    Gradually add milk while whisking it into the pan. Cook until bubly about 4 mins.

    Remove from heat and add 1.5 cups cheese and cilantro.

    Once cheese is melted add cooked pasta

  9. 9

    Place in 9x13 baking dish. Add remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top. Cook 15 min uncovered.
