  1. 1.1 lbsor 1 bag squid (about 500 g)
  2. 1large onion
  3. 2bay leaves
  4. 2 tablespoonstomato sauce
  5. 1/2 cupdark beer (about 120 ml)
  6. Salt, pepper, and oil
  7. 2 tablespoonssweet paprika

    Slice the onion into thin strips and add to a skillet with the two bay leaves. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    When the onion is soft and translucent, add the squid and 2 tablespoons of sweet paprika. Cook for a couple of minutes, then add the tomato sauce and beer. Increase to medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    After about 10 minutes, it's ready to enjoy—easy and delicious. You can use beer or white wine; I sometimes use non-alcoholic dark beer.
