Ingredients

30 minutes
2 people
  1. 1 cupseviyan or vermicelli
  2. 2 cupshot water
  3. 3/4 cupsugar
  4. 3 tbspghee or clarified butter
  5. 1 tspcardamom or eliachi powder
  6. as required Cashews as you want

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Take 1 tsp ghee in pan. Roast sevai for 3 to 4 minutes. It turns golden in colour.

  2. 2

    Heat the water in another vessel. Pour it on roasted vermicelli. Let it cook.

  3. 3

    When water gets completely absorbed, add sugar. It becomes little liquidy. After sometime it becomes thick.

  4. 4

    Add cardamom powder & cashews. Garnish with cashews. Serve hot.
