Delicious Microwave..Paneer Kofta Birayani preparation is lengthy but it is tasty...............
Steps
- 1
For kofta : In a bowl combine mashed potatoes, besan, 1 cup paneer (grated), haldi powder, red chilli powder, 1 tsp ginger, green chilli and garlic paste, 1 tsp garam masala, salt to taste and 1 tbsp oil..Mix well..and knead a stiff dough. No need of adding water. In paneer there is a moisture. From the dough take a small ball and make a kofta shape. In the middle of the kofta add 1 raisins. Repeat the same procedure till it is done...Once it done. Keep aside..
- 2
Heat iron kadai..I like to fry in iron kadai. Because it is just like non-stick kadai. Fry the koftas till it is light brown in colour both the sides. Once it is done. Transfer the koftas in a plate and keep aside...
- 3
For birayani : In a safe microwave glass bowl add 1 tbsp oil or ghee, chopped onion, 2 green Elaichi, 2 cloves, 1" cinnamon stickKeep in a microwave for 1 minute. After 1 minute take out from the oven. Then add all the dry masala, tomato and onion paste. Mix...well again microwave for 1 minute. After 1 minute take out from the oven..
- 4
Then add soak basmati rice. Mix..well. Add birayani masala, salt and water. If you have take 1 cup rice then take 1/2 cup water. So that the rice will be not sticky...Microwave for 3 minutes. Check in between..
- 5
After 3 minutes. Take out from the oven...check it...If it is done... Cool it...Now arrange the koftas in a birayani...If you want to add fresh creammm.
- 6
Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream...Again microwave for 1 minute. So that the koftas will be soft and cream will melt...While eating it is very tasty and yummy...Serve with raitas and salads...
