FALOODA
Falooda is a popular Indian summer drink. It is a very scrumptious and a perfect dessert in hot summers. Origin of this layered dessert is Iran, but is popular in many other countries - India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Middle East and Turkey. In India, it was introduced by the Parosis who migrated to India from Iran.
Basic falooda is prepared with basil seeds, vermicelli, rose syrup and milk. Apart from rose falooda, mango, strawberry, pistachio, saffron, chocolate and fruit falooda can also be made.

Steps

Soak basil seeds for 30-60 minutes. Prepare falooda sev or vermicelli as per instructions.

Now in a glass, add falooda sev and basil seeds. (Soaked and drained)

Add rose syrup and pour chilled milk.

Finally top up with vanilla ice cream.You can garnish it with some tooti frooti, dry fruits. Serve.
