1st we have to make a caramel. That's why taking a bowl which I want to make pudding

Heat the bowl with 4 tsp sugar and 2 tsp water.

Bring to a boil on medium heat.Never stir at this stage.It has light brown boarder first. Then it turned dark brown.Just turn off the flame and with the help of a tong,spread the brown colour all over the pan.

Let's set the caramel

Take a medium size bowl.Add 4 eggs.Bit the eggs gently with a hand whisk.Donot make a foam because it will creat bubble which we don't want.

Add 1/2 tsp sugar and mix.

Now pour the milk and add 3 drops vanilla essence.Mix gently all.

Pour this custard into that caramelised bowl with the help of a strainer.

Cover the bowl.

Now take a kadai or pan on a gas.Then set a stand into the pan and put the custard bowl on the stand.
Now add water so that 1/3 of the bowl is submerged. - 11
Cover it.When water start s to boil,keep the flame low and steam it for 25 - 30 mins.

After 25 mins. check the pudding with a knife.If the knife comes out easily,then pudding is done.Otherwise keep the bowl on heat for another 5 mins.

Now take out the bowl from the hot kadai carefully as it is too hot.
Let it cool completely and keep in the fridge for at least an hour. - 14
After an hour,it looks like this.

Now demould the bowl carefully with a knife.

Now place a large plate on the pudding mould and flip it carefully

Caramel egg pudding is ready to serve.
