There’s nothing better than a cool slushy on a hot summer day. A cool slushy is the absolute best way to beat the heat.

1/2muskmelon cut into pieces (frozen)
1 tsprock salt
2 tbspbrown sugar/honey
2 cupschilled water
As required Pistachios chopped for garnishing (optional)

Wash, peel, deseed muskmelon and cut into small pieces and place these pieces in a freezer for at least 4 hours.

Place the frozen muskmelon pieces in the blender. Add sugar and salt. Add chilled water and blend on high speed for 2 minutes until smooth.

Pour the muskmelon slushyin a glass. Top with some nuts and a cherry on top. Serve immediately.
