Ingredients

1 jar
  • 1/2seedless tamarind
  • 1/2 cupgur
  • 1/2 cupseedless dates
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 TSPJeera powder
  • 1 TSPKashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 TSPAmchur
  • 1 TSPSaunf powder
  • 2 cupWater

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large kadai take equal proportion of tamarind, dates and jaggery
    pour 2 cups of water.

  2. 2

    Mix and boil the mixture for atelast 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add saunf powder, jeera powder, kashmiri red chili powder,amchur powder and salt to taste.

  4. 4

    Mix and mash tamarind and dates.

  5. 5

    Simmer the mixture for 2 minutes.
    Later allow the mixture to cool completly.

  6. 6

    Strain the puree.
    and transfer the tamarind ka chutney into airtight jar and store it in the refrigerator..

  7. 7

    Enjoy with your favourite chaat sev puri bhel puri.
