An extremely popular deep-fried snack recipe served by fast food joint restaurants. It is basically prepared with tendered chicken meat, but as a vegetarian alternative, these nuggets are prepared with a minced meal maker or soybean. it can be an ideal evening tea time snack or perhaps a munching appetiser or starter to small to medium party, if not as a side to any meal. for soya mixture:
2 cupsoya chunks
as per requirementwater (for soaking)
1/2 tspchilli powder
1/2 tspcumin powder
1/2 tspgaram masala
2chilli (finely chopped)
2 tbspcoriander (finely chopped)
3/4 tspsalt
1 tspginger garlic paste
2potato (boiled & mashed)
2 tbspcorn flour for slurry:
1/2 cupcorn flour
1/2 cupmaida
1/4 tsppepper powder
1/4 tspsalt
as requiredwater (for batter)
other ingredients:
1 cupcorn flakes (for crumbs)
as requiredoil (for frying)

Firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup soya chunks and soak them in hot water for 20 minutes.

Drain off the water and rinse well.

Squeeze water and transfer to a mixer jar.

Pulse and grind to coarse texture.

Transfer the shredded soya chunks into a large bowl.

Add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 2 chilli, 2 tbsp coriander, ¾ tsp salt and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.

Also, add 2 potatoes and 2 tbsp cornflour. mix well.

Squeeze and mix well making sure the mixture is well combined.

Now pinch a ball sized mixture and shape round/ random.

Keep aside.
now prepare the slurry, take ½ cup corn flour, ½ cup maida, ¼ tsp pepper powder and ¼ tsp salt.

Prepare a smooth batter adding water as required.

Now dip the soya nuggets into the corn flour slurry.

Coat into crushed corn flakes.

Deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium.

Stir occasionally and fry until the nuggets turn golden brown and crisp.
