I first tasted smothered pork chops when I was in my 20s believe it or not my mother always fried them when I was a child and I was never a huge fan until I tried them a different way and I couldn't be happier with this recipe

Tried this with thick cut boneless chops in the oven in a casserole dish at 375° for an hour with some stuffing. It was great. Added it to favorites.
