Namkeen Gosht

Namkeen Gosht is a traditional meat dish which is considered a specialty of Peshawar and of Balochistan. The meat is normally mildly spiced and good source of animal protein and good fats prepared in garlic and black pepper and other mild spices adding to the taste and aroma of the dish making it amazingly delicious.
Namkeen Gosht can be prepared using mutton or lamb or beef meat and serves as one the main dish to your Eid ul Adha menu.
This recipe is close to me as I learned it from my mother and it's a statement dish in our family enjoyed by everyone.

Take a bowl add water, vinegar, and dip beef for 1 hour.

Take a wok add ginger garlic paste, water and cook for 1 hour on low heat until the beef is soft.

Then add whole garam masala, coriander powder,salt and mix well.

Add oil, tomato, green chilli and cook for another 10 minutes until the tomato is soft.

Take a mortal pestal add black pepper whole, zeera whole and grind.

Add crushed black pepper, zeera and bhonify together.

Namkeen Gosht is ready to serve hot with roti or naan 😋
