  • 1 cupsoaked and boiled moong daal
  • 1chopped onion
  • 1chopped tomato
  • 1/2chopped beetroot for red colour
  • 1 inchginger and few cloves of garlic
  • 2 Tablespoonsghee
  • As Per TasteSalt
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 2 tspkashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tspdhaniya powder
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 pinchAsafoetida
  • Few curry leaves and chopped capsicum

    Heat ghee in kadai and add cumin seeds and hing.

    Add some curry leaves and curry paste

    Add all the spices

    Add salt and garam masala

    Put the lid on the kadai and cook for some time then add cooked moong daal

    Add few drops of lemon if you want and add chopped capsicum and cook for some more time.
