Puri Chole
Puri Chole is an absolute adorable lunch for kids in school.
Steps

Soak overnight kabuli Chana and pressure cook in sufficient water by adding salt + chopped Tomato.

In a moderately heated pan add oil, add bay leaf + dry red chili + cumin seeds and allow to crackle. Add onion + green chili and sauté till pinkish then add ginger garlic and sauté for a few seconds to ward off rawness. Then add all spices by adding 3 tbsp water so that masala doesn’t burn.

Then add boiled Chole along with water and add salt as required. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

Now add Kasuri Methi and cook further for 4-5 minutes, lastly add lemon juice and simmer for 1 minute. Chole is ready for lunch box.,

In mixing bowl add Aata / Maida + salt + oil + water and knead a soft dough. Roll out round round puris.

Deep fry on both sides and Puri is ready.

Pack lunch box with Puri and Chole.
