Dry roast the whole red chillies, bay leaf, coriander seeds & cumin seeds & grind them into powder.

Smash the boiled potatoes. In a bowl take besan, little bit of turmeric, salt as per taste, 1/2tsp red chili powder. Add water gradually & make a smooth but little thick batter. Rest it for 20-25 mins.

In a pan heat oil. On low flame add hing & ginger paste. Stir & add smashed potatoes. Add little bit of turmeric,salt, 1tsp red chili powder, 1tsp cumin powder & 1tsp coriander powder. Mix well all the ingredients. Add 1.5 tbsp fried masala. Cook properly. Take it out on a plate & let it cool.

Heat adequate oil to fry. Add 2tsp of hot mustard oil into the batter & mix.

Make small size balls of potatoes. Rub little oil in your palms. Take each ball & press gently on your palm & give the shape of chop.

Dip each of them in the batter & deep fry. Fry from both sides for 4-5 mins. Enjoy hot with puffed rice or tea.🥰
