Ingredients

  • 1 cupRava (sooji)
  • 2Potatoes
  • 2medium size onion
  • 2 pieceGreen chilli
  • pieceGinger small
  • pinchTurmeric
  • as per tasteSalt
  • as per tasteRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspGaram masala
  • Halflemon juice
  • as requiredSugar
  • as requiredCoriander
  • 3 cupwater
  • as requiredOil for stuffing & deep fry

Steps

  1. 1

    First boil potatoes and cut the onions into small pieces

  2. 2

    Now heat the pan and add oil now add the onions and cook it till golden brown.As soon as the onions are golden brown and ginger and chillies to it

  3. 3

    Now add all the spieces mentioned above and add the cooked potatoes to it which are cut into small pieces

    For the rava covering boil three cups of water and add 1tsp of salt as it boils add 1 cup of rava to it and cook it till it forms a dough like structure

    Now take a small portion out of the dough and roll it and stuff the filling into and make a ball out of it

    Then deep fry it brown

    Now your chatpata rava balls are ready to eat
