We can make tomato chutney in many variations .This tomato chutney is prepared using all the spices which gives a healthy and tasty recipe for the beginners.
Steps

Clean and mince tomatoes an keep aside.

Heat 1 tsp of oil in a sauce pan and add all the spices with chana dal and roast it till turns brown.

Grind the raosted ingredients into fine powder.

Add little oil to sauce pan.Add to it 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds allow it to splutter,then add hing and minced tomatoes.Allow it to cook for 10 mins

Cook till it becomes dry.Remove from flame and add ground powder to it.

Serve as a side dish with breakfast like idli or upma for a spicy taste.
