Presenting an easy peasy and yummy Halwa which is a wonderful offering to Lord Krishna during Janmashtami.
Steps

Take soaked Sabudana pearls and drain all water.

Assemble all ingredients

In 1 tbsp ghee, roast melon seeds till golden brown and keep aside.

Add remaining ghee, add Sabudana pearls and stir for 3-4 minutes.

Add sugar and stir/cook for 3-4 minutes till the water from sugar evaporates. Lastly, add cardamom powder + saffron strands.

Mix saffron nicely and Cook further for 2-3 minutes, add mein seeds, and mix well. Gradually Sabudana mixture starts leaving the pan. Halwa is ready.

Garnish with almonds or any dry fruits of your choice.
