This can be made in a crockpot/ slow cooker as well. I was cleaning out and rotating my canned goods and started cleaning up the pantry and made this quick slow cooked old fashioned goulash. I normally use tomato juice never pasta sauce . Idk 🤷‍♀️ its good 👍🏻 this was too , . So this is a rotating clean out food stock pile for me. I took a inventory of everything and what we need for winter coming up. I like to use and rotate everything before buying more ( to replace) so it does sit and never get used up .
No one in my family didn’t notice i made a change in the sauce/ tomatoes juice. You can also use salsas instead of the diced tomatoes, because sometimes theres just a little salsa left and no chips good way to it up.

Ingredients

  1. 3-4elbows noodles uncooked
  2. 1 lbsHamburger meat
  3. 1 jarpasta sauce (big)
  4. 1-2 cupbeef broth
  5. 1 canDiced tomatoes with Green chilies
  6. Shredded cheese optional
  7. Herbs- salt pepper onion powder garlic powder Italian seasoning

Cooking Instructions

    In a big pot brown hamburger meat and Drain any grease.

    Next add all ingredients (1-2 cups of beef broth depending on how much noodles you have the pasta sauce and both should cover uncooked pasta) mix and let simmer until the noodles are done and soaks up most of the liquid. When done add cheese or any other toppings/ hot sauce
