Fish Braciole 🇮🇹

Braciole is normally made with a flank steak but I wanted to cook fish. So I slightly adjusted this recipe. Easy to create a fancy plating. I can definitely see serving this to my guests.

Braciole is normally made with a flank steak but I wanted to cook fish. So I slightly adjusted this recipe. Easy to create a fancy plating. I can definitely see serving this to my guests.

Star with preparing the base. Stir diced red onions and carrots in a pan with olive oil. Once they start to cook add in the pinenuts and capers. As you see pinenuts changing color, add the chopped tomatoes. Squeze in 1/2 lemon, add honey, chili paste and balsamic. Let it simmer at medium heat.

As your base is cooking start preparing your fish. In a separate bowl mix rest of the lemon juice, diced garlic cloves and a little olive oil. Put your fish on the cutting board and cut each fillet into 2. Add the parsley mixture to the wider end and start rolling. To prevent the fish from breaking, add toothpicks.

In a separate pan add olive oil and once olive oil is heated add the fish and fry them. As the fish cooks, gently remove the toothpicks from the fish.

Add the base on a plate then put the fish on top. Decorate with some parsley. And, enjoy!!
