Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Then add hing, tej patta, onion, ginger, and garlic. And fry for a minute.

Add cashews and tomatoes. Mix well.

Fry till all the ingredients are dark golden brown.

Cool down the mixture and grind it into a paste and again pour it into a pan.

Now add red chili powder, dhaniya powder, and garam masala powder.

Then add boiled tea water and matar aloo to the mixture. Now, mix it well and let it cook for 2 min on a slow flame with a lid on it.

Delicious Aloo Matar is now ready. Serve it with parantha Or roti.
