For 30min. wash and soak rice. In a heavy bottom, pot heat up oil add whole dry spices saute add sliced onions saute till golden brown in colour add green chilli add red chilli powder kanda lasun masala garam masala powder salt

Add 2 cups of water / depending on the quality of rice. add soaked and drain rice from water cook for 3/4

Now cover the pot with a lid put on pressure on low flame cook for 10-15 min.

Serve hot with any curry sabji raita papad pickle.
