Steps
- 1
Combine all the ingredients for the sauce into a saucepan and place it on a medium/low heat with a periodic mix.
- 2
While the sauce is working, cut the chicken into small cubes. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Set up a mixture of the flour and corn starch in a separate bowl.
- 3
If you are not using a fryer, take a medium sauce pan and combine peanut oil with some sesame oil. You can use vegetable oil if you don’t have the others but it definitely taste better with peanut oil. Bring the oil to medium/high temp - enough to cook the chicken pieces through.
- 4
Place the chicken into the egg and then into the flour/corn starch mixture. Take some of the coated pieces of chicken and place into the pan and cook through. Repeat until all the chicken is fried.
- 5
Take your sauce mixture and pour over the chicken and mix so that they are all coated in sauce.
- 6
Garnish with chives or freeze dried chives work as well. This is delicious over fresh rice - Hope you enjoy!
