Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cupboiled chick peas (soaked overnight)
  2. 1 mltomato ketchup
  3. 2 tablespoononion
  4. 2 teaspoongreen chili and ginger
  5. 2 tablespooncapsicum (green pepper)
  6. 1/4 teaspoondry mango powder
  7. 1 tablespoonchola masala
  8. 2 tablespoonvegetable oil
  9. 1/4 teaspooncumin seeds
  10. 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper
  11. 1tawa rotis of Maida
  12. 1 gmgreen chutney
  13. 2 tablespoontomato
  14. Salt as required
  15. 1 slicedonions and some spring onions
  16. 1/4 teaspooncoriander powder
  17. 1/4 teaspoonasafetida

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan. Add asafetida and cumin seeds. Let them splutter for a minute. Now add, green chili and ginger, chopped onion and sauté for a minute.
    • Now add tomato, salt, dry mango powder, coriander powder, chola masala, black pepper and mix well.

    Let the masala cook for 2 minutes. Lastly, add capsicum and cook for another minute. Now add boiled chickpeas, along with 2-4 tbsp. of water.
    • Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.

    Place the tawa roti on a plate. Spread tomato ketchup and mint chutney on the roti.
    • Put sliced onions and some spring onions.Add the prepared masala to the roti.
    • Roll the roti into a roll and serve.
