Peel off the taro and sprinkle some salt on it,and leave it for few minutes,after few minutes wash it nicely,and let it drain all water.

In a meantime add onion in hot oil and let it light golden then take out all and add in blender jug add little water and make fine paste.

In a same oil add curry leaves, cumin seed saute a second then add fried onion paste,

Add water in jug to remove all paste from it,and add in pan mix and cook few minutes then add spices and water mix well and fry them nicely and cover it for few minutes

Then oil get separate from it add taro(arvi) and water (according to your required) mix and cover it,then it get tender completely add tamarind paste and coriander leaves,dish it out after 5 minute.serve with boil rice/chapati
