Actually for all modak preparation we will prepare rice powder in a huge quantity.in a bigger family we will prepare more like 1-2 kg. all the different modak preparation everything done then there will be some powder left. With the help of it, we will prepare a steamed rice balls very tasty and healthy snack.

First wash your rice in the water and soak it for 3 hours then remove the water completely in a strainer and keep the rice for dry in a towel or clean white cloth.when completely dry pour in to your mixie grinder make a fine paste keep it in a container..

Then take a kadai pour some hot water add a pinch of salt and oil little bit pour your fine paste rice powder let them cook suppose you are taking one glass of rice powder you have to take two and half glass of water everything cook nicely keep it away for cooling.The dough will be tight form.

Then after some time add one by one your masala, red chilli powder,salt,hing,gun powder everything mix nicely with your hand everything done then you have to prepare very small balls. when you are done take your idli vessel and transfer all the small balls and steam on a idli tray let them cook for 12 minutes.

Then when completely cool down spread in a tray.take one kadai pour some oil for tempering. add black rai,urad dal,chana dal,red chilli,green chilli,hing,curry leaves when the ingredients turned into golden colour then put them over the steamed rice balls. mix nicely and add grated coconut then one final touch up, add your coriander leaves. everything done and now it is ready to eat.Do some puja and give it to your family members.
