What's more amazing than treat your family with this heavenly delicious Banofee pie. The word comes from banana and tofee.

The main ingredient in this yummilicious dessert is bananas and Dulce de leche (toffee sauce) made by caramelising condenced milk for many hours by placing it in a pan filled with water and cooked for several hours , than cooled and used. It's so delicious and gives tofee flavour. Can be made in cooker or oven in short time.

Ingredients

4_5 servings
  • 14oz,/1can condensed milk
  • 1 cupFresh cream or whipping cream
  • 1big pack Digestive biscuits /lotus biscuits
  • 100 gmsbutter
  • Bananas as required
  • For topping :
  • Roasted or caramelized walnuts
  • Chocolate shavings

Steps

  1. 1

    Crush biscuits to fine and add melted butter and mix well. Add butter gradually and when biscuit crumbs feel to form a ball or sticking together than stop adding butter. Mix and spread on a serving dish or in shots like I did. Press gently with spoon and keep in fridge till set.

    The main part is toffee sauce or Dulche de leche, a brownish colour sauce

    Whip cream to double add some toffee sauce /Dulce de leche in it and mix.

  4. 4

    Take out the shot glasses from fridge, put toffee sauce, than few banana slices and cover it with tha whipped cream we made.

    Top with some walnuts /pecan, banana slices and chocolate grated, cool and enjoy this classic delicious banana dessert you'll love it

    Tips
    * The amount of biscuits depends on size of bowl or containers used. It can be make in spring foam cake pan.
    *The toffee sauce is available in stores but can make easily at home.
