Everyone makes African dagaa (sardines) in different way or in there on ways, this recipe is made with tomato gravy with spices.

Heat sunflower oil 🌻, add cumin seeds, when start to crackle add finely chopped onions 🧅, stir.

Add finely chopped ginger and garlic 🧄, green chilies and mix, add finely chopped 🍅 tomato, salt🧂, cook until oil comes out, add all the spices, kashmiri red chillies powder 🌶️, turmeric powder, coriander & cumin powder, little finely chopped coriander leaves mix it well, add plain yoghurt, cook for 2 mins on medium heat, add dagaa mix well.

Just cook for 1 min and serve hot, garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with wali (plain rice/ coconut 🍚 rice), ugali.
