To begin, in a blender, add the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, sugar, and oil. Blend until smooth. Keep aside.

Sift the whole wheat flour in a large bowl to incorporate air. Add in baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, and salt. Mix.

Now add in the blended wet ingredients. Mix into a thick and smooth batter. Do not overmix. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180°C.

Grease the muffin moulds with oil. Pour in the batter 3/4 levels. Tap once to remove air bubbles. Bake at 180°C or 375°F for 10-15 minutes. The baking time varies based on the oven and the size of the muffin moulds.

Check with a toothpick if the muffins are done. The Spiced Pumpkin Banana Muffins are ready to serve.
